Super Typhoon Rai (known as “Odette” in the Philippines) is the 15th storm to hit the country this year and is the strongest storm of 2021.
Matnog Port is located in the province of Sorsogon and is the gateway of all RoRo trucks bound to Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao.
Starting December 01, RoRo trucks started to accumulate along the Hi-Way due to canceled sailings brought about by strong waves.
The situation at the port is getting worse due to Typhoon Odette. All RoRo trucks are stranded at the ports of Matnog and Allen (Samar)
