Here are some steps to follow when sending liquid:

- Tighten and secure the cap with tape, wrap it with cling film or bubble wrap, and place it in an upright position. We strongly advise customers to add strong reinforcements inside the box when sending liquid in plastic containers, e.g., dishwashing liquid, shampoos, detergents, etc. These types of plastic containers are NOT designed to resist heavy pressure when your box is loaded in the container, so we do not guarantee that liquid will not leak.
- Customers sending liquid in containers larger than one litre, e.g., dishwashing liquid, fabric conditioner, or cooking liquids, must place them in a wooden box or plywood container for extra protection. We do not supply wooden boxes, but you may fabricate your own.
- To protect our other customers from liquid spillage, we strongly advise a limit of one litre of liquid per Balikbayan box. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure all liquids are safely secured inside the Balikbayan box. The sender may be liable for any damage from spillage that affects other Balikbayan boxes.
