Here are some ways to follow when sending liquid!
Follow these steps:
- Tighten and secure the cap with tape, wrap it with clingfilm or bubble wrap, and place it in an upright position. We strongly advise customers to add strong reinforcements inside the box when sending liquid to plastic containers, e.g., dishwashing, shampoos, detergents, etc. This type of plastic container is NOT designed to resist heavy pressure when your box is loaded in it, so we do not guarantee that the liquid will not leak.
- Customers sending liquid in containers larger than one liter, e.g., dishwashing liquid, fabric conditioner, or cooking liquids, must place them in a wooden box or plywood for extra protection. We do not supply wooden boxes, but you may fabricate your own.
- To protect our other customers from liquid spillage we strongly advise a limit of one litre of liquid per balikbayan box. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure all liquids are safely secured inside the balikbayan box. The sender may be liable for any damage from spillage that affects other balikbayan boxes.
