The Philippine Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has released the Guidelines on the Provision of Financial Assistance for Displaced Land-based and Sea-based Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) due to the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-2019). This is a one-time grant amounting to USD 200.00 under the DOLE “Abot-Kamay ang Pagtulong” sa OFWs or DOLE AKAP which is intended for OFWs who lost their jobs either because their employers are affected by the lockdown and other measures being implemented by their host country, or they got infected with COVID-19.
The OFWs from the following countries covered by POLO London for its services may now submit their applications ONLINE through POLO-LONDON’s DOLE-AKAP Online or @POLOOWWALONDON Facebook page or email address, pololondon.akap@gmail.com .
